Summer School 2011
Tutoring is available for the months of July and August for high school and elementary school students. We offer 'Small Group' sessions and 'One-on-One' tutoring.
High School Students - Tutoring is offered to those students who plan to write a supplementary exam in August 2011 and/or who need help in preparing to write the Math Placement test at Memorial University of Newfoundland in September 2011. (Please note that supplementary exams for Levels 1 and 2 students are scheduled by the individual schools. Check to find out the correct time.) As well, assistance is available to help those students in grades 7-8 whose performance in Language Arts and Mathematics indicate that they need additional support to succeed in the upcoming school year. (Small group sessions - Registration deadline is June 28, 2011.)

Small Group Sessions One-on-One Tutoring Help
Elementary Students - Students often slip back during the summer months and forget what they've learned in the past year. Tutoring services are available during the summer months (July to August) to help students to keep up and to retain what they have learned. Sessions are offered in Math (eg. number concepts, place value, multiplication, division, times tables) and in Language (word attack skills, vocabulary, sight-word acquisition, reading fluency and comprehension) These sessions involve teacher-guided fun activities/educational games that your child will enjoy and learn at the same time. (Small group sessions - Registration deadline is June 28, 2011.)
